Austin Depner

Hi everyone, My name is Austin (Deputy Dep) Depner, and I am a new teacher here at Colby Middle/High School! This is my first year in the district, but not as a teacher. I worked 2 years in Manitowoc, Wisconsin as a EBD Teacher in a Middle School/Junior High setting. I also have been a coach for Middle School Volleyball, Basketball, Football, and was the head of student council in Manitowoc. This year, I am currently the head coach for the JV 2 Volleyball team in Abbotsford. 

Some things I love to do in my spare time is go for walks/hikes. I like playing sports of any kind and enjoy helping others. I also enjoy spending time in nature and exploring new places whenever I can find time to do so. I also enjoy making people laugh and have officially decided that if teaching does not work out, that I will pursue my career as a comedian. This is going to be a great year, and I look forward to working in a new town and working here at Colby Middle/High School. PS, did you know I am a deputy?
