Students can join the Trap Club, which is coordinated through the Range Boys Gun Club. The competition is part of the WI State High School Target League. Spring trap shooting takes place at the Abbotsford Sportsmans Club on Monday evenings at 5:00 pm. Students must have a WI DNR Hunters Education Certificate. Students must have a 12 or 20-gauge shotgun (Remember-guns are not allowed on school property). Fees are charged for league registration and cost of shells and equipment (donations are being sought to reduce the cost). A Range Boys Gun Club liability waiver form must also be completed. Register online at www.claytargetscoring.com and select the AMS option. Fees must be paid in full before a student can be on the Trap Club team.
