The Yearbook Club meets twice a month on Wednesdays to work on putting together the yearbook. Students develop leadership, teamwork, photography, graphic design, marketing, journalism, and time management skills as they take photographs throughout the year and put together page designs utilizing Josten’s Yearbook Avenue to compile the final book. Students also collaborate with the Student Publications students and the District Office to generate social media content for the district social media pages. This club is a great opportunity for students to get real world marketing and publishing opportunities and have a fun creative outlet that benefits not only the student body, but the whole Colby community as they work as record keepers for the year.
