The Poetry Club meets twice a month to explore and develop writing skills in a fun and collaborative environment. Each meeting students explore a new type of poetry through different examples before sitting down in the writer’s workshop to play around with creating their own poem in that style and often sharing it with those around them. This club is a low stakes environment for anyone who enjoys writing creatively to continue to develop their voice as a writer while being exposed to a variety of different writing techniques and styles to try out.
