Library Media Mission Statement

The mission of the K-12 Library Media program is to provide opportunities for students to acquire knowledge and skills in accessing, processing and communicating information using a wide range of technologies. This knowledge and skills will result in learners using, and better understanding, technology as a tool for continual lifelong learning, problem solving and communicating in a global society. The library media program supports the curriculum by providing adequate resources, personnel and training so the both students and teachers become independent users of information.
